COURSE OVERVIEW
The IDS Sales Training Academy exists to address the needs of its new car and truck dealer members. The Sales Training Academy has been established to promote the careers and longevity of sales personnel in new car dealerships. The Sales Training Program currently has 175 participating dealerships throughout the United States. These dealer members are actively pursuing highly skilled professionals to add to their sales teams.
The Academy offers a four-day course of instruction that prepares students to join the automobile industry with the necessary tools to succeed. Courses are held Monday through Thursday, two times a month. No previous sales experience is necessary, and the only requirements for enrollment include holding a valid driver's license (from any state), and being over the age of 18. There is absolutely NO CHARGE for the course, and there are no hidden fees of any kind. All required materials are provided.
During the four day course, students will be stepped through all aspects surrounding automotive sales, starting with greeting the customer, learning about financing vs. leasing, and concluding with customer satisfaction strategies. Once one has completed the course, the student's name and contact information are immediately passed on to our participating dealer members, recognized as a course graduate. Dealerships will then begin calling to arrange interviews! In addition, a complete list of Sales Academy dealer members will be given to the graduate to assist in job placement.
